Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

At Foxbridge Primary School we are committed to meeting the individual needs of all children and providing the highest quality of education by ensuring that the appropriate provision is made for each child.  We have the expertise to support children with particular needs and work with parents and external agencies to ensure the very best outcomes for children.

We are an inclusive school and create a sense of community and belonging through our broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils.

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) is Pam Bridgwood, she will be happy to answer any questions that you have.

For more information please see our Special Educational Needs and Disability Policy and Information Report in the policies section or contact us directly.

Where can I find the Local Authorities Offer?

All local authorities working with their partners must publish information about how children and young people 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are supported in their area. The local offer describes the services and support available for Children and Young people with SEND from birth to 25 and their families in Leicestershire. You can find information, help and advice; assessments; plans and policies throughout this section of the website:

http://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/education-and-children/special-educational-needs-and-disability/about-the-local-offer

Foxbridge Primary School intends to link closely and align itself to the authority offer.
